Ennis Signs With Buffalo
A piece of good news for the local WHL fans here in Medicine Hat. Ex-Tigers forward (well... he's eligible for one more season, but trust me, he won't be back in the dub) Tyler Ennis signed a 3-year entry level deal with the Buffalo Sabres today. He was one of their two 1st-round picks in the 2008 NHL draft, 26th overall. He finished with 236 points (115 goals) in 245 career WHL games, and had an unbelievable night on February 27, 2009. He scored 6 goals that night against the Prince Albert Raiders. Here is what Sabres fans should be looking forward to in the next few years, and all 6 of his goals against PA are here too. Pay special attention to goal #5 from that night... unbelievable!
